
The First Vice President of Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mahamud Sayid Aden has attended a grand cultural festival organized by the Somali community residing in Garissa county in Kenya’s Northern Eastern region.
The well-coordinated cultural event was aimed at strengthening cultural heritage, community unity and promote solidarity among the Somali people living in the North Eastern region of Kenya.
In his speech, the First Vice President praised the efforts of the Somali community in Garissa for their dedication to preserving their culture and maintaining the noble traditions that define their society. He also extended special thanks to the city administration, cultural groups and event organizers for their warm reception accorded to him and his delegation.
The Jubbaland First VP, Mahamud Sayid Aden emphasized that the Jubbaland government places great importance on fostering brotherly relations and cooperation among Somali communities wherever they are. He called for continued efforts to enhance unity and cohesion among the Somali people.
