Jubbaland State President, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting that reviewed key issues including security, fisheries development, the blue economy, environmental protection, and the country’s political situation.

According to officials, the Council of Ministers discussed measures to strengthen security across the region, while also highlighting the importance of expanding the fisheries sector as part of broader efforts to boost economic growth.

The Cabinet meeting emphasized the need to advance the blue economy, focusing on sustainable use of marine resources to support livelihoods and development.
