The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has officially invited members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament representing Jubbaland to a consultative meeting scheduled for 2nd March 2026 in Kismayo.
According to the presidential communication, the meeting aims to deliberate on the current political situation in the country, providing a platform for constructive dialogue and coordinated decision‑making between the state leadership and its federal representatives.
The Jubbaland State President emphasized the importance of cooperation and engagement during this critical period, calling on all invited lawmakers to attend the session.
The letter, issued from the Office of the President in Kismayo, expressed appreciation to the MPs and underscored the administration’s commitment to continuous consultation.
