Several Jubbaland security officers stationed in the Kolbiyow area, Badhaadhe district have extended vital water assistance to families displaced by the ongoing drought.
The Security Commander, Samriye Rashid Adan, together with Ilyaas Soomeey, the Jubbaland Intelligence and Security Chief in Kolbiyow, jointly led this humanitarian effort to support vulnerable communities severely affected by drought conditions.
The displaced families, currently settled in designated temporary sites, have no access to the town’s main water sources, resulting in an urgent need for clean water. In response, the officers personally delivered water supplies, offering critical relief aimed at easing the hardships faced by these drought‑stricken households.
