The President of the Jubbaland state of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has yesterday met with the commander of the United States Mission in Somalia, AFRICOM, General Stephen Townsend who was a visit to Jubbaland regional state of Somalia.
The meeting between the two discussed on how to work together in the fight against terrorism and how the united states can play a more active role in countering terrorism that poses a great threat to the Somali nation and its people.
The two sides agreed to cooperate in the operation against enemies and launch a joint operation as well as share security information.
