The Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Finance, Nuur Omar Shaalle, today chaired a strategic meeting evaluating the Social and Economic Reform Project (SERP) as the year 2025 draws to a close. The session forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability, improve resource management, and enhance government revenue generation.
Joining the meeting were Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ibrahim Mohamed Qooshow; Deputy Chairperson of the Jubbaland Civil Service Commission, Ahmed Ugaas; SERP Project Manager, Mohamed Nuur Salax; along with technical experts and key stakeholders from civil society engaged in Jubbaland’s economic development.
The discussions centered on assessing progress, identifying challenges, and setting priorities for the next phase of reforms aimed at building a transparent and sustainable financial system for Jubbaland.
