The Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education of Jubbaland, Abdinasir Serar Maax, today held a high-level meeting with a delegation from UNICEF Somalia to strengthen collaboration on education development.
The meeting, held in Kismayo, focused on strategic plans for advancing education over the next two years and reinforcing partnerships between the two sides. Joining the Minister were Abdiraxmaan Abdi Ahmed, Jubbaland’s Minister of Planning, along with several departmental directors who actively contributed to discussions on improving the overall quality of education in the state.
UNICEF reaffirmed its full commitment to supporting educational projects, safeguarding children’s rights, and enhancing learning services aligned with the Ministry’s new development plan.
