A high-level delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the Jubbaland State Government, Mohamed Osman Jama, arrived in Ceelwaaq town in the Gedo region on an official visit aimed at assessing the living conditions of the local population.
The delegation included the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Faduma Ali Abdikarim, the Deputy Chairperson for Project Development and Institutional Relations in Gedo, and several Members of Parliament from the Jubbaland House of Representatives.
Upon arrival, the delegation received a warm welcome from the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Suleiman Mohamed Mahmoud, the State Minister for Security, Hon. Mohamed Abdi Kalil, the Ceelwaaq District Administration, and senior security officials.
During their visit, the delegation toured various parts of the town, engaging with residents and local leaders to gain firsthand insight into the humanitarian situation and development needs of the community.
