
The Director General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Learning of the Jubaland State Government, Ahmed Farah Ali (Aweys), conducted an official visit today to schools in Doolow district, Gedo region.
During the visit, DG Aweys met with school administrators, teachers, parent committees and students. He emphasized the vital role education plays in shaping individuals and communities, urging the public to prioritize learning as a cornerstone of human development.
The gathering provided a platform for open dialogue, where community members posed numerous questions to the director general regarding the advancement of education in the district.
Accompanying Mr. Aweys on the inspection tour were senior officials from UNICEF, who continue to collaborate closely with the Ministry in strengthening the education sector across Jubbaland regional state.
