The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs & Reconciliation of Jubbaland is preparing to unveil its newly constructed headquarters, marking a significant milestone in the region’s governance and infrastructure development.
The Minister, Mohamed Ogle, accompanied by the Ministry’s Director General, Abdiwahid Mohamed Daqhane and several staff members, conducted an official inspection of the new facility recently. The visit aimed to assess the progress of the construction ahead of its upcoming inauguration.
During the tour, the engineering team overseeing the project briefed the delegation on the current status of the building and the final stages of completion.
This development comes as Jubbaland continues to balance its efforts between combating extremist threats and investing in public infrastructure. While one hand is firmly engaged in the fight against insurgent groups, the other is building roads and government institutions to strengthen stability and service delivery.
The new headquarters is expected to enhance the operational capacity of the Ministry and improve coordination in governance, reconciliation, and federal affairs across the region.
