In a major step toward urban development, the President of Jubbaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, officially laid the foundation stone for three new paved roads in the neighborhoods of Via Afmadow, Kibooro, and Calanleey.
The newly planned roads, stretching a total of five kilometers, are expected to significantly enhance the city’s infrastructure. They will play a vital role in improving the aesthetic appeal of Kismayo and easing transportation for residents, fostering better connectivity and mobility across the city.
This initiative marks a key milestone in Jubbaland’s ongoing efforts to modernize urban infrastructure and improve the quality of life for the community.
