The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Jubbaland State Government, Ismaaciil Ahmed Garas, has today warmly received a high-level delegation from Save the Children organization in Kismayo, Jubbaland State of Somalia.
Following the reception, the delegation held a pivotal meeting with the Minister, departmental directors, and other senior staff from the Ministry. The meeting, held at the Ministry’s central headquarters, focused on strengthening the ongoing partnership between the two entities.
During the discussions, participants reviewed previous achievements and addressed current healthcare challenges facing communities across Jubaland. Strategic plans were also explored to effectively respond to these needs and improve service delivery.
Minister Garas expressed deep appreciation for Save the Children’s continued support to Somali communities, particularly those in Jubbaland regional state. He emphasized the importance of reinforcing collaboration to enhance healthcare services and ensure sustainable development in the region.
