
The Lower Juba Regional Police Command has officially launched a three-day training program in Dhobley district in Lower Jubba region focused on strengthening collaboration between the police and the community, known as Community Policing.
The opening ceremony was attended by Shukri Farah Ducale, Head of Police Training Command, alongside district administration officials and senior officers from the Jubaland Police Force.
The initiative aims to enhance mutual trust, improve public safety and foster a cooperative approach to law enforcement.
The training will equip officers and community representatives with practical tools to address local security challenges through dialogue, partnership and proactive engagement.
