In a significant political development, the Second Vice President of Jubbaland State, Mahmoud Sayid Aden, arrived today in Balad Hawo District, accompanied by senior officials from the Jubbaland administration.
Upon his arrival, the Second Vice President was warmly received by a delegation of Jubbaland ministers who had arrived earlier, including the Ministers of Security, Interior, Labor, and Social Affairs. Also present were Members of Parliament from both the federal and state levels, the Governor of Gedo Region, the District Commissioner of Balad Hawo, the Commander of Jubbaland’s Darawiish Forces in Gedo, and other key dignitaries.
The visit underscores the regional government’s commitment to strengthening governance, security, and development efforts in the Gedo region.
