In a significant move for the educational sector, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Jubbaland State Government has officially inaugurated the 8th-grade national exams for the 2025 academic year.
The launch event was attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education, alongside the Director of Education, the Deputy Chairman of Social Affairs for Kismayo District, members of the government examination committee, teachers as well as other officials.
The exams commenced simultaneously across all regions of Jubbaland State, with a total of 5,429 students both boys and girls, participating.
The students are expected to demonstrate due diligence and competence throughout the examination period to successfully pass this crucial stage of their educational journey.
Director of Education Ahmed Farah Ali (Aweys) praised the efforts of both students and teachers, emphasizing the importance of improving the quality of education in Jubbaland State.
On his part, The Minister for Education has encouraged students to take the exams seriously, exhibit good conduct and wished them all success in their endeavors.
