Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived is in Nairobi, Kenya to meet with his Kenyan counterpart President William Ruto.
Mohamud and Ruto held talks focused on peace and security in the region, as well as collaboration in trade and investment, at State House, Nairobi.
Earlier this week, Kenya and Somalia signed an agreement to collaborate on political consultations, education, and defense.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, who is also the cabinet secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, and Somali Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre emphasized that the three bilateral instruments aim to further solidify cooperation for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries.
