The administration of Afmadow Hospital has added a new building section to the hospital to serve pregnant women living in Afmadow district.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Health has collaborated with the MSF organization in the construction of the new building section.
The new section added to the Afmadow hospital will help serve a suitable place for women to receive surgery and address their medical services needs in the field of surgery.
The Afmadhow hospital Chief Medical Officer, Salebaan Sheikh Mohamud, who spoke to Radio Kismayo said the section will tremendously help women access a host of medical services that was not previously accessible at the Afmadow as well its environs.
