The first Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Aden, yesterday chaired a two-day meeting with members of the Jubbaland Council of Ministers.
The meeting discussed the country’s elections, security and the drought situation in the Jubbaland state.
The Vice President of Jubbaland State of Somalia, has called on the Somali people and the international community to work together to help those affected by the biting drought in Jubbaland state.
The meeting also focused on the security issues in Gedo region. The Vice President offered his condolences to the officers and soldiers who died in Tuulo-barwaqo area on the outskirts of Garbaharey district, while fighting against the Al Shabaab terror group.
