The Jubbaland Ministry of Health has launched a measles vaccination campaign in Dhobley and its environs following reports of suspected measles cases in Dhobley.
The Ministry of Health confer in partnership with MSF started a measles vaccination campaign to fight against the measles outbreak in Dhobley and the surrounding areas.
The campaign was launched by the Director for Health and Emergency Services of the Jubbaland Ministry of Health Dr Mohamed Bashir Nur . He urged all staff to take part in the campaign to prevent the risk of measles.
The director also said that the campaign is different from the previous ones and will run for 30 days in order to tame the adverse effects and and risks of measles.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Health, in collaboration with MSF, has delivered medicine to Dhobley Health Centers and Dhobley General Hospital in aid of the children suffering from measles.
