The President of Jubbaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has last night met with top US military officials operating in the Jubbaland regional state of Somalia at the Jubbaland presidential palace.
The state President was accompanied by Brigadier General Mohamed Abdi Sheikh, Commander of the Jubbaland Forces and his deputy commander, Colonel Mohamed Guled Hassan.
The meeting discussed how to intensify and bolster the fight against the Al-Qaeda linked -Al-Shabaab terror outfit through full co-operation between the state and the US forces.
The meeting also discussed ways to intensify and launch massive terror operations against terrorism and other insecurity issues in the state.
