Banadir regional Governor Omar Mohamed Mohamud Filish instructed those residing in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, to heed the health messages and awareness campaigns conducted by the Banadir regional administration to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The Governor of Mogadishu also indicated that those who do not comply with the directives issued by the Ministry of Health regarding coronavirus will be punished.
He said people living in the capital are required to implement the orders of the government and wear face mask at all times.
He urged everyone to do everything they can to limit the spread of the Coronavirus in the Somali capital.
