Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo yesterday held an hour-long meeting with Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, leaders of the three pro-federal states and the governor of Benadir region.
Sources said that the talks centered on the Somali election-related issues.
No official word has yet been received on the meeting at the Somali presidential palace.
The meeting comes as a meeting of the Union of Candidates and Presidents of Galmudug, South West and Hir Shabelle regional administrations is scheduled for tonight.
Controversy still surrounds Somalia’s 2021 elections.
