
The Minister of Health of the Jubaland Government, Ismail Ahmed Garas, today held a productive meeting with the staff of Afmadow District Hospital to discuss the hospital’s performance and the continued improvement of healthcare services for the community.
The meeting was attended by the Ministry’s Director of Administration and Finance, Mohamed Abdikadir, the Health Coordinators of Afmadow and Kismayo districts, as well as senior officials and staff members of Afmadow District Hospital.
Discussions focused on the overall status of the hospital, the healthcare services it provides to the community, existing challenges, and strategies to further strengthen the quality and accessibility of healthcare delivery.
Minister Ismail Ahmed Garas praised the hospital staff for their dedication and commitment to serving the people of Afmadow, recognizing their vital role in improving public health. He encouraged them to continue redoubling their efforts to ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services for all members of the community.
