Jubbaland Police forces in Dhobley district of Lower Juba Region have arrested two individuals suspected of being involved in drug trafficking following a targeted security operation.
According to police officials, the operation was carried out after security agencies obtained credible intelligence indicating that narcotic substances—particularly hashish—were being sold in certain neighborhoods of the town.
Acting on this information, police launched an operation that led to the successful apprehension of the suspects.
Speaking to the media, police officers confirmed that investigations are ongoing and emphasized that anyone found involved in drug-related activities will be brought before the courts to face justice.
