Jubbaland Deputy Security Minister Closes Specialized Training for Presidential Guard Unit

Jubbaland’s Deputy Minister of Security, General Aden Ahmed Haji, today officially presided over the closing ceremony of a specialized training program for a contingent of the Jubbaland Presidential Guard.

The training, conducted over a set period, aimed to enhance the unit’s professional capacity, discipline, and operational skills—ensuring they are fully equipped to effectively carry out their security duties. The program focused particularly on strengthening their readiness to safeguard the Jubbaland State House and protect senior government leaders.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Minister commended the troops for their commitment and the professionalism they demonstrated throughout the course.

He praised their discipline, determination, and eagerness to advance their capabilities in service to the nation. General Aden reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to building a highly skilled and dependable security force capable of upholding peace and stability across Jubaland.

Also attending the event was the Commander of the Jubbaland Presidential Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Mahad Hassan Abdi, who lauded the trainees for their hard work and strong performance. He urged them to continue serving the nation with integrity, responsibility, and loyalty.

Renewed calls were made at the ceremony for the newly trained officers to apply their enhanced skills in strengthening the security of Jubaland’s leadership and institutions.
