The Director General of the Jubbaland Intelligence and Security Agency (JISA), Mohamed Ahmed Sabriye (Bassaam), on Sunday officially concluded a high‑level military training program for the Hanqadh Battalion of Jubbaland’s Intelligence and Security forces in Raskamboni, Badhaadhe district.
The intensive training focused on enhancing the professionalism, capability, and operational readiness of Jubbaland’s security forces.
According to officials, the units that completed the program received specialized instruction tailored for counterterrorism operations against Al‑Shabaab, including advanced tactics designed to strengthen security and support the recovery and stabilization of Badhaadhe district and surrounding areas.
These continuous capacity‑building initiatives reflect the Jubbaland Government’s firm commitment to improving security, eliminating terrorist threats, and building a professional and fully prepared security sector.
The strengthened forces are expected to play a crucial role in promoting long‑term stability, effective governance, and a safer, more secure future for the people of Jubbaland regional state.
