The Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Jubaland State Government, Ahmed Abdirisaaq Mohamed (Handal), has presented the full details of the 2026 fiscal budget to the Standing Committee of the Jubaland Parliament.
According to the Minister, the total budget for 2026 stands at $69,413,730.43, comprising domestic revenue managed by the State Treasury (Own Source Revenue) and external funds outside the Treasury.
Domestic revenue for 2026 is projected at $40,221,502.30, collected from all regions and districts of Jubaland. This marks a 15.41% increase compared to the 2025 budget, signaling economic growth and improved revenue management.
Additionally, projects funded through the World Bank and managed via the Central Treasury will amount to $28,922,228.13 in 2026.
