The Ministry of Interior of the Jubbaland State Government today convened a high-level governance forum in Kismayo, bringing together regional leaders from the Jana Cabdalla and Buulla Xaaji areas. The meeting aimed to strengthen accountability and promote transparency in local administration.
The forum was attended by key officials including the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, the Director of the Ministry of Education, the Director of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, the Director of the Ministry of Women and Family Affairs, the Director of Internal Security and the Director of Planning, Investment and International Cooperation. Also present were the chairpersons of the districts under the Kismayo municipality.
Discussions focused on enhancing the delivery of essential public services to local communities, reinforcing good governance practices and responding effectively to the needs of the population.
The initiative marks a significant step toward inclusive governance and improved service delivery in Jubbaland’s remote regions.
