Security Debriefing in Kismayo: Lower Juba Regional Police Command Collaborates with Anti-Abuse Organizations

Critical security debriefing was today held in Kismayo, involving the Lower Juba Regional Police Command and organizations working on preventing abuses.

The debriefing was chaired by Acting Chief of Jubbaland Police Force and the Commander of the Lower Jubba Regional Police, Col. Sadik Mohamud Dhogor and attended by senior police officers and representatives from local and international organizations focused on human rights protection and combating abuses.

During the debriefing, discussions were held on strengthening cooperation between the police and collaborating organizations on improving efforts to ensure community safety and address abuses against civilians, especially vulnerable groups such as women and children.

Col. Sadik Dhogor emphasized the importance of collaboration among various organizations and the need for a unified approach to combat activities that threaten community security and stability.

Additionally, participating organizations presented reports and recommendations on enhancing community awareness and strengthening human rights protection services in the region.

In the debriefing, it was agreed that regular debriefings should be held to improve cooperation and address existing challenges.
