The deputy Mayor of Kismayo, Dahir Hussein Abdi and the deputy director of Kismayo Social Affair, Najib Bare Salad have today along with some neighbourhood leaders and police officers, carried out inspections at some of the roads in the suburbs of Kismayo town.
The inspection was focused on demolishing the illegal makeshift tents and business kiosks erected along the major roads in the town.
During the inspection, the authorities ordered the people running their businesses illegally along the road areas to move out of the streets immediately to allow the beautification and the expansion of the roads.
This demolition is part of the local government’s efforts to restore the beauty and development of the roads in town.
