Jubbaland state President, Ahmed Mohamed Islam will today be heading to Giriley and Diif areas where two clans recently clashed.
The two warring clans have since reached a preliminary agreement on the feud.
The Jubbaland state President’s visit is to complete a full agreement between the two communities and bring peace and stability to the war-torn areas.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam will also hold a special meeting with elders of both warring sides to discuss the finalization of the peace agreement.
Meanwhile, President Ahmed Mohamed Islam will hold talks with local administrations in the two areas to discuss environmental development.
The Jubbaland state President Islam will be accompanied by members of both houses of the Jubbaland parliament.
