A delegation led by the Minister of Interior and Reconciliation of Jubbaland state, General Mohamed Warsame Darwish are in Dhobley town.
The Interior and Reconciliation minister was accompanied by the Jubbaland Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Mohamed Abdi Oogle, the Minister of Public Works Reconstruction and Housing, Eng. Ismail Ahmed Garas and the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Ahmed Hussein Baraki.
The delegation are meeting community elders and reesidents of Dhobley town and will largely focus on discussions whether Dhobley town can be upgraded to a district level.
The ministerial delegation will continue to hold meetings with Dhobley officials and a host of members of the public in the coming days to further discuss the issue and gain a common ground on the matter.
