The Chairman of the Jubbaland State Indirect Election Commission (SEIT) Dr. Siyad Mohamed Mursal has today met with AMISOM Police Officers who are part of the security forces at the polling station.
The meeting which took place in his office discussed strengthening of security at the polling station which is in its final stages.
The Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Siyad Mohamed Mursal, briefed AMISOM officials on the security situation at the polling station and commended the Force officers for stepping up their security operations during the polling process.
The Jubbaland and Hirshabelle regional states are yet to complete their parliamentary elections, with the South West State of Somalia, Puntland and Galmudug concluding the process.
