National Consultative Conference in Mogadishu enters its 5th day

Somali Federal Government spokesman Mohamed Ibrahim Maalimuu has today issued a statement on the ongoing meeting of the National Consultative Council in Mogadishu.

“This Saturday morning the Heads of the National Consultative Council will continue their meeting focusing on electoral issues. The leaders will be analyzing and consulting on complaints related to the credibility transparency of the elections”

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble has pledged to hold free and fair elections in the country and to ensure the quota for women in parliament is retained.
