The Commander of the Somali Navy, General Abdihamid Mohamed Dirir, has accused Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble of looting land belonging to the Somali Navy.
The commander of the Somali navy said that the prime minister was building a private residence on part of the navy’s land, which he said he did not know about.

“To grab the remaining real estate of the Somali National Army, I say it is not going to happen and it is not acceptable for the prime minister to loot a private land belonging to the Somali navy offices,” Said Commander Abdihamid Mohamed Dirir.

Commander Abdihamid said he would rather lose his post as Somali Navy Commander than to allow looting of the Somali navy land on his watch.
