The First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Aden, has on Monday received a delegation from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) at the Jubbaland State House.
The delegation, led by FAO Somalia Representative Etienne Philips, heard briefings from some of the Jubbaland State Council of Ministers on the state and needs of Jubbaland administration.
The meeting focused on addressing the ongoing ravaging drought situation in the Jubbaland State of Somalia, which has affected humans as well as Livestock.
The Jubbaland first Vice President was accompanied by Jubbaland Minister for Relief and Disaster Management and other government officials.
