The Somali government’s Ministry of Health has detailed the latest cases of coronavirus pandemic.
The total number of coronavirus positive figures nationwide in the last 48 hours is said to be 1010. Somaliland is said to have registered 41 coronavirus cases while Puntland registered 37 cases, Banadir region with 9 cases, Hirshabelle regional state registered 7 Covid cases, Jubbaland state with 6 cases while Galmudug regional state registered 6 coronavirus cases.
The number of death as a result of the coronavirus contraction was put at 8 in Somaliland, 6 in Banadir region and 1 in Puntland regional state of Somalia.
The general number of death from the Coronavirus in Somalia is said to be 529 while a significant number of others are still being treated and quarantined.
