Somalia’s ambassador to Yemen says hundreds of Somali refugees will be repatriated by the end of March.
He said the Somali people in yemen are facing dire living conditions. Ambassador Abdullahi Hashi Shurie said that they are working hard to save the Somali people from the crisis in the country.
Yemen has been embroiled in a civil war in recent years, with some areas facing dire conditions and refugees becoming increasingly vulnerable.
The ambassador’s statement comes at a time when dozens of people died last week in a camp for migrants in Yemen.
