The Executive Director of the Jubaland Non-State Actors Association (JUNSAA), Mohamed Amin Mohamud, is taking part in a four-day capacity-building training programme in Mogadishu organized by the BRIDGE Institute.
The training aims to promote the development of an inclusive, transparent, credible, and trustworthy democratic system that supports the conduct of free, fair, and credible elections capable of earning the confidence of citizens.
Running from 27 to 30 July 2026, the programme brings together participants to examine key issues related to electoral development, institutional capacity enhancement, and the strengthening of stakeholder participation in democratic processes.
The sessions will focus on improving electoral systems, building the effectiveness of democratic institutions, and fostering meaningful engagement among stakeholders to support a sustainable and participatory democratic transition.
JUNSAA’s participation in the training reflects its continued commitment to promoting good governance, civic engagement, and democratic values across Jubaland and Somalia at large.
