A delegation comprising members of various Jubaland government councils, the Deputy District Commissioner for Social Affairs of Kismayo, senior military officers, and other officials on Tuesday conducted a morale-boosting visit to frontline positions in the Lower Jubba region.
During the visit, the officials met with units of the Jubaland Security Forces and the Somali National Army (SNA), praising their recent achievements in ongoing operations against terrorist groups and their continued commitment to maintaining security and stability.
The delegation commended the troops for their bravery, sacrifice, and dedication in the fight against terrorism, recognizing their role in protecting communities and strengthening peace in the region.
Officials also encouraged the forces to intensify efforts aimed at eliminating extremist elements, emphasizing the importance of sustaining security gains and ensuring lasting peace and stability in areas liberated from militant control.
