The Jubbaland Ministry of Religious Affairs held an important meeting today with the Jubaland Council of Scholars, attended by representatives from the region’s security agencies.
The session, chaired by the Ministry’s Director General, Aden Farah Gaarane, focused on several critical issues related to community morals and public conduct.
Key agenda items included:
•Upholding the moral standards and modesty of Muslim women
•Strengthening adherence to proper Islamic dress codes
•Religious guidance on mixed-gender sports activities
•Measures to curb locations and practices associated with immoral behavior
•Additional matters concerning public ethical conduct
The officials issued a formal statement outlining the Islamic position on the discussed topics and warning that action will be taken against anyone found engaging in behavior deemed inappropriate within the community.
