Jubaland State President, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, received an enthusiastic reception today upon his arrival in Mogadishu, the nation’s capital.
Senior government officials from various branches, along with representatives from different sectors of society, gathered at Aden Adde International Airport to extend a warm welcome to the President.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam is in Mogadishu to participate in a high-level national summit focused on deliberating the current political and security situation of the country. The meeting is expected to address key national priorities and chart a unified path forward on matters considered critical to Somalia’s future.
