The Jubbaland Darawish army’s second battalion operating in the area of Janaa Abdalle has this morning thwarted and killed a group of Al-Shabaab members who intended to launch a cowardly attack on a base of the Darawish army in the area.
The Jubbaland Darawish army officers were acting on a prior intelligence report for a possible Al-Shabaab attack in Janaa Abdalle area and its surroundings.
The Jubbaland forces confirmed that a gun battle with the terrorists members began at some distance from the area of Janaa Abdalle. The terrorist were later overwhelmed and killed instantly.
