The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) has held a critical security meeting with senior officers of the ATMIS peacekeeping mission in Somalia.
The house speakers held fruitful discussion with the Deputy Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Fiona Lortan, the Deputy Chief of Staff of ATMIS, General William Shume and Meg. George Kuteesa, the Commander-in-Chief of Sector One of the ATMIS force.
The meeting largely focused on strengthening security for the presidential election.
