The Somali Police Force Commander, Major General Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijar, accompanied by senior Somali police officers has met with the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), James Swan and Senior Officials in his Office.
The meeting discussed the completion and strengthening of security in the country’s elections, with the brave Somali Police Force commended for their success in securing and providing maximum security during the Mogadishu constituency poll process which concluded on February 25th.
