The two-day conference of Somali prosecutors will focus on enforcing the rule of law, improving office functions and debating and approving the code of conduct.
There will also be a number of discussions and research presentations, as well as speeches by the Forum’s leaders at the conference that opened today in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
Chief Justice Bashe Yusuf Ahmed, Attorney General Dr Suleiman Mohamed Mohamud, Somalia Minister for Justice Hassan Hussein Haji, Somali Police Force Commander Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijar, officials from the Prosecutor’s Office, regional administration officials, The US Ambassador to Somalia and other officials are attending the conference.
