Somali Ambassador to the United Nations Amb. Abukar Osman Bale has filed a lawsuit against the First Secretary of the Somali Mission in New York Mohamed Abdirahman Omar, the son of former Mogadishu Mayor Eng. Yariisow.

Credible reports indicate that Ambassador Abukar Bale and Secretary General Mohamed Abdirahman Omar held a meeting at a recent conference attended by Mohamed Abdirahman but the two couldn’t cooperate.

Somali Ambassador to the UN Amb. Abukar Osman Bale sued diplomat Mohamed Abdirahman at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs communications department, arguing that they cannot work together.

This is the second dispute between the two and sources indicate that Mohamed Abdirahman may be transferred to Washington or Geneva.

The federal government has appointed Mohamed Abdirahman Omar as the first secretary of the Somali delegation in New York, following the death of former Benadir regional governor and mayor Abdirahman Omar Osman Eng. Yariisow.
