The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, Abdisaid Muse Ali, has met with the Norwegian Special Representative for Somalia, Heidi Elburgi Johansen in Mogadishu to discuss strengthening of relations and cooperations between the Somalia and Norway.
The meeting focused on enhancing effective cooperation between Somalia and Norway in the areas of security and conflict resolution.
Somali Foreign Minister Abdisaid Muse Ali thanked Norway for its support to the Federal Government of Somalia.
The Norwegian Special Representative to Somalia, Heidi Elburgi Johansen, stated that Norway is ready to play its part in rebuilding Somalia.
Norway is one of the main donors to Somalia and has been implementing various projects in many parts of Somalia.
