The President of Galmudug State of Somalia, Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor has yesterday received the AMISOM Sector 4 Commander and officials at the State House in Dhusamareb.
The meeting discussed the acceleration of the Galmudug elections and security and the fight against Al-Shabaab terror group in Galmudug.
A statement from the Galmudug presidency said that the president of Galmudug has concluded a security meeting with AMISOM officials which discussed a host of issues critical to Galmudug administration.
The meeting between Galmudug state president and AMISOM sector commander 4 in Dhusamareb comes at a time of ongoing fighting in Guriceel district of Galgadud region by Ahlu Sunna group and government forces.
