The outgoing Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and his entourage have today set off from Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
Farmajo was one of the leaders invited to the inauguration of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, whose party won the June election.
During his stay in Addis Ababa, President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo will hold talks with other leaders attending the inauguration of Prime Minister Abi Ahmed.
President Farmajo’s trip to Addis Ababa will be his first overseas trip since April 25th, when unrest and clashes in Mogadishu forced him to withdraw from a two-year term extension.
